Välinge Innovation’s Threespine click furniture technology enables furniture to be assembled in seconds without using any tools or fittings. You simply click the furniture together and get perfect results every time.
It saves the environment by eliminating the needs for screws, fittings and glue. It simplifies logistics by reducing the number of parts and opens up for smart transportation in flat packages. Finally, the user gets easy and effortless furniture assembly with perfect results.
The original Threespine Core and the brand-new Threespine ID are two different solutions developed to meet the market’s demands and wishes.
Threespine click furniture technology is patented and only available for licensing by Välinge Innovation.
Threespine ID
A brand-new solution
Threespine ID – Inclined Dowel – is a brand-new locking system that makes furniture assembly exceptionally fast and easy with secure and reliable results, every time.
The inclined dowels and the newly developed locking device, Pinlock, efficiently prevent panels from separating and secure the lasting results. Installation of the components is integrated in production and assures a solid and secure result – regardless of factory assembly or RTA.
Production is based on the industry’s traditional drilling methods to ensure easy implementation and avoid major changes in the design and manufacturing stages.

Easy assembly
Threespine ID makes assembly really easy, and a major advantage is how easily it integrates in existing production lines without any huge investments needed.

How it works
The key features of Threespine ID are the inclined dowels in combination with the flexible locking pin. Position the panels with dowels over the holes in the other panel. Press straight down. The locking pin will be compressed, and as the panel reaches its final position the locking pin snaps out into the receiving hole and achieves a strong connection.

How it works
The key feature of Threespine is the flexible plastic insert.
The insert is equipped with springs enabling backward motion when a panel is pushed into position. As the panel reaches its final position, the insert snaps out into a wedge groove on the opposite panel and achieves a strong connection.
